Sand Mug (Original Mug '22 Edition)

The Sand Mug is the much-awaited return of our 'Original Next Of Kin Mug' – the new and improved 2022 edition. After pausing on the creation of our original piece for a couple of years, we thought it was time to bring back the speckled, timeless simplicity of our round and oh-so-cosy Original Mug. Making its reappearance alongside the 'Sand Tumbler', the glaze more creamy and speckled than ever, we have renamed the original the 'Sand Mug' - a much more fitting descriptor in our opinion. A chance to embrace all that is Next Of Kin – intrinsic connection to nature, a visceral opportunity to slow down and the indescribable beauty of simplicity and small details.

Wheel-thrown body. Hand-pulled handle.

High fired stoneware (fired to 1280C in our solar-powered electric kiln).

Featuring custom created 'Sand' glazes. (All Next Of Kin glazes are custom created and mixed by hand in our studio.)

All Next Of Kin ceramics are microwave and dishwasher safe, however warm hand wash is preferred.
