Next Of Kin x Locale — Sip + Clay on Magnetic Island

Join us at Locale (inside Jungle Club) on Magnetic Island for a sip and clay session where you will be able to design and create your very own mug, cup or bud vase. The perfect way to relax, unwind and have fun learning a new skill in paradise. PLUS you will end up with a handmade souvenir that will last a lifetime :)

In these workshops, participants will be introduced to hand-building with clay and guided through a step-by-step process of crafting their own personalised and unique ceramic homewares piece.

 

 

The workshops will involve the soft clay part of the process only. The drying, bisque firing, glazing and glaze firing processes will be carried out by the artist after the workshop. This process takes approximately 4 weeks.

Fired pieces will be available for collection either on Magnetic Island or in Townsville, or shipping can be arranged during your workshop for a small fee. 

 

 

All pottery materials included. Morning workshops include a free coffee (or hot drink of your choice) from Tiny Palm Coffee. Afternoon and evening workshops include grazing platter. Alcohol is BYO and you are also welcome to bring/purchase your own food/drinks.

 

These workshops are available for group bookings only. Minimum 4 participants, Maximum 10. Ticket price is per person.
